Gaelic as a credit course

Students on other degree programmes may be able to take Gaelic as an 'outside subject' in years one and two. This means that they can study Gaelic for credit - as an elective (optional) course - in the pre-honours years of their undergraduate degree, depending on their timetable.

Typically, there are courses available for both complete beginners and students with prior knowledge; each is worth 40 credits. There is also a 20 credit introductory course to Gaelic Language and Culture.
